How to Roll a Backwoods with Nef The Pharaoh

Not only is Nef the Pharaoh one of the Bay Area's most exciting rappers at the moment, he is one of the region's most skilled blunt rollers. He recently stopped by the HNHH office to share his blunt-rolling secrets.

Nef begins his tutorial by selecting the darkest Backwood from the pack and breaking it open. "It's a Backwood, it's not a Swisher, so you don't split it down the middle. You want to look for the seam on that mother****er and actually unravel it," he explains.

Why does Nef prefer Backwoods to Swishers? "A Swisher is just like cardboard. It just tastes nasty, it's gross, it smells like a cigarette. Backwood is all-natural tobacco leaf."

Nef's preferred strain is Girl Scout Cookies, and his preferred blunt thickness is anywhere from a gram to an eighth. He proceeds to roll up an extra-large blunt and shares a few pro tips along the way: how to clean the Backwood before rolling, how to deal with sticky hands, and why you shouldn't use scissors.
